Website Design Services Agreement

Acknowledgement

You acknowledge that SbOGB.com is the party that is responsible to provide all web site design services under this Website Design Services Agreement and the Service.

Design and Hourly Rate.

This Website Design Services Agreement includes the design updates from the DRAFT REVIEW and FINAL REVIEW of the DESIGN, including updating links and making minor changes to a sentence or paragraph. It would include things such as removing nearly all the text from a page and replacing it with new text. If the client or an agent other than SbOGB.com attempts updating the client’s pages, time to repair web pages will be assessed at the hourly rate, and is not included as part of the updating time or the Service. The design period commences upon the period from the start date agreed upon by the client and SbOGB.com, and is in effect once SbOGB.com accepts the clients payment for the services. Changes requested by the client beyond those limits specified above will be billed at the hourly rate of $180 ( 15 minute increments with a 1 hour minimum) or based on our current price list for the work performed. This rate shall also govern additional work authorized beyond the maximums specified above for such services as general Internet orientation education, marketing consulting, web page design, editing, modifying product pages and databases in an online store, and art, photo, graphics services, and helping clients learn how to use their own web page editor. CGI programming charges (if any) are not included in this rate.

    No charges will be levied on the client without full disclosure of the need for additional charges first.

Service Level Options (or Turn-Around Time)

Service Levels: Small Projects == less than 15 Hours

Normal Service Level: “5 to 7 Work Day” Guaranteed Turn-Around: scheduled out at up to 2.5 Hours per Day = 100% x Base Service Cost; SbOGB.com starts on your assignment and schedules it out for completion based on up to 2.5 Hours per Day to allow designers to work multiple clients’ jobs on time. SbOGB.com guarantees your invoice will be scheduled for completion within 5-7 work days or as scheduled on the client’s on-line order or invoice.

Fast Service Level: “2 to 4 Work Day” Guaranteed Turn-Around: scheduled out at up to 5 Hours per Day = 200% x Base Service Cost; We guarantee your invoice will be scheduled for completion within 2-4 work days or as scheduled on the client’s on-line order or invoice. This rate was previously called the Enhanced Rate, we felt Normal, Fast, and Urgent was a better description of the selections.

Urgent Service Level: “Same Day to 2 Work Day” Guaranteed Turn-Around: scheduled out at up to 7.5 Hours per Day = 300% x Base Service Cost. We guarantee your invoice will be scheduled for completion within 1-2 work days or as scheduled on the client’s on-line order or invoice.

Service Levels: Large Projects == greater than 15 Hours

SbOGB.com will create a project specific schedule and provide a schedule to the client to reflect the Service Level the client chose.

Selecting Service Levels

Small Projects: Service Levels should be selected by the client when placing their on-line order.

Large Projects: Clients please call SbOGB.com before placing your order needing Fast or Urgent Service Levels to allow us to create a custom schedule and identify which Service Level should be selected.

After Purchase Service Level Change Request

Please call call SbOGB.com to discuss your change in timing requirements.

When changes in Service Levels are requested after the client’s purchase and the client wishes to upgrade or downgrade the Service Level, we will request you to also send the request via email.

In general, if there exist enough unused whole hours in your already purchased and schedules permit, SbOGB.com will try to accommodate your request. The original order remains in effect until SbOGB.com updates you that your changes have been accepted in a Support Ticket.

The change request and outcome will be documented with a Support Ticket.

Upgrades: If sufficient funds have been paid and the “work request” can fit the earlier delivery date, the currently paid time will be used at the new rush rate, e.g. the client purchased 12 Normal Design Hours and would like to Upgrade the purchase to Urgent Design Time:

12 Normal Service Level Hours X 1 Urgent Service Level Hour

= 4 Urgent Service Level Hours

… this will provide the client 4 Urgent Service Level Hours for Same Day to 2 Work Day completion.

Quick Example Upgrading Conversions:

  • 6 Normal Service Level Hours = 3 Fast Service Level Hours = 2 Urgent Service Level Hours
  • 2 Normal Service Level Hours = 1 Fast Service Level Hour

Downgrades: If sufficient time remains yet-to-be-worked and the “work request” can fit the later delivery date, the currently paid time will be used at the new Service Level, e.g. the client purchased 12 Urgent Design Hours, say only 4 Urgent Service Level Hours have been used and the client would like to Downgrade the purchase to Fast Design Time:

= 12 Fast Service Level Hours

… this will provide the client 12 Fast Service Level Hours for 3 – 4 Work Day completion.

Quick Example Downgrading Conversions:

  • 2 Urgent Service Level Hours == 3 Fast Service Level Hours == 6 Normal Service Level Hours
  • 1 Fast Service Level Hour == 2 Normal Service Level Hours

Additional Funds Needed

If additional funds are needed to complete the Service Level Change Request, SbOGB.com will email the client instructions on completing a new order or making a partial payment to add to the existing order. Once work has been completed or begun on any partial hour at any Service Level, SbOGB.com will not change the client’s Service Level options for that partial hour.

Changes to Submitted Text

Please send us your final text. Time required to make substantive changes to client-submitted text after the web pages have been constructed will be additional, billed at the hourly rate.
